This is “tower of wind”,the central monument of the activity of protecting the enviornment around this area.
原爆により被爆した楠の苗を育てています。
We grow the young camphor tree suffered from the atomic bomb.
長崎の山王神社から頂きました。彼らが被爆した楠で、爆心地からほんの８００ｍの距離です。
We received it from Sanno shrine in Nagasaki.They are parents which are only 800m away from the hypocenter.
千羽鶴です。

岡本太郎氏による「明日の神話」。被ばくをテーマにしています。
「Myth of tomorrow」 by Taro Okamoto.The theme is radiation exposure,I think.
被爆しても生き抜いた楠のように、現在の放射能汚染下でも、力強く生き抜くことを願います。
Like the camphor trees suffered from the atomic bomb still living now,may the all beings live vigorously under the present radioactivity pollution.
